DAVID

Get into a new dimension of computation power
Main features
  • 32 bits floating point DSP
  • 24 analog inputs
  • 8 analog outputs
  • 100 general purpose I/Os
DV3 jumps you into a new dimension of computation power. The main features of DV3 are :

A 32 bits floating point DSP ( SHARC from Analog Devices ) capable of 120MIPS. Typically, a 10x10 matrix times a 10x vector is performed in

24 analog inputs with simultaneous sampling. 6 A/D converters are used, allowing the complete conversion of all inputs in 10us. For fast applications, the first results are available in less than 2 microseconds after the conversion start. For applications requiring high resolution measurements, a special version with 14 bits converters is available.

8 D/A converters are available to command analog devices or to visualise internal variables on oscilloscope

The FPGA offers as much as 100 I/Os fully programmable. Classical use is PWM modulator, incremental incoder interface, etc...

As DAVID, DV3 feature a FLASH memory, Binary port and a RS232 communication port. There is an additional RS422 port for noisy application or communication with an LCD display.

External RAM is provided for applications with high memory requirements ( typically useful for signal processing, video, etc. )
