| Quadrature encoder |
This is a common interface to position encoders. These encoders provide two signals in quadrature which allow the computation of relative position of a moving piece. |

| PWM Modulator |
This is a 3 phase synchronised or shifted Pulse Width Modulator. It is used to command a power electronics inverter. The modulator triangle generator works at 32MHz (40MHz on DV3) allowing a very good time resolution. This module allows the blanking time of the power switches to be programmed. |

| Space Vector modulation |
This powerful modulation allows higher modulation indexes to be reached. Also, commutations can be optimized to reduce the switching losses of the inverter. This option includes the FPGA program as well as the optimized C code allowing the blanking time of the power switches to be programmed. |

| Communication network |
With this option it is possible to synchronize and share data between up to 8 boards. The communication program provides high data rate ( 8Mbits/s) on a distance of 100m. |

This board is used for conditionning the signals to be measured by DSP boards. Digital command signals are directed to Fiber optic emitters. This provides a secure manner to send commands to power electronics devices. Analog acquisition is made through high common mode differential amplifiers. |

The D/A board provides 16 analog outputs with a resolution of 13 bits for a +/- 5 volts range. |
